Women’s Firearms Comfort Seminar-Knowledge Builds Confidence
Whether you’re completely new to firearms or looking to become more comfortable and confident handling one, this three-hour seminar is designed specifically for women in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
During the first two hours in the classroom, participants will learn the fundamentals of safe firearm handling, firearm parts and operation, ammunition basics, safe storage practices, and how to confidently handle common questions and concerns that new gun owners often have. We will also discuss selecting a firearm that fits your needs, understanding different types of handguns, and developing safe habits that build confidence.
The final hour will be spent on the range, where participants will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned under the guidance of experienced instructors. The range portion focuses on safe firearm handling, proper grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and building comfort through supervised live-fire practice.
This seminar is designed to be welcoming, educational, and encouraging. No prior firearms experience is necessary. Questions are encouraged, and our goal is for every participant to leave feeling more knowledgeable, more confident, and more comfortable around firearms than when they arrived.

Texas LTC Proficiency Demonstration
Have you completed your online Texas License to Carry (LTC) classroom training? The final step is completing the required proficiency demonstration on the range.
This class is designed for students who have already completed the online LTC course and need to satisfy the state-mandated range qualification requirement. During this session, a certified LTC instructor will review range safety procedures, explain the course of fire, and guide you through the shooting qualification.
The proficiency demonstration includes:
• Review of firearm safety and range procedures
• Overview of the LTC shooting qualification course
• Supervised live-fire qualification
• Completion of required LTC documentation upon successful qualification
Students should bring:
• A handgun in safe working condition
• Eye and ear protection
• Ammunition (minimum quantity as specified during registration)
• Valid government-issued photo identification
• Proof of completion of the online LTC classroom course
This session is intended to evaluate safe firearm handling and basic marksmanship skills as required by the State of Texas. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, professional environment that helps students successfully complete the final step toward obtaining their Texas License to Carry.
Upon successful completion, students will receive the documentation needed to continue the Texas LTC application process.
